I got a job! I will be teaching a class of 2/3 graders (wouldn't ya guess it) in Shoreline, WA (about 16 miles from our home).
Had a Saturday interview...school starts Wednesday...my students and parents come tomorrow (Monday) to meet me! Wow. Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. I really felt ok not getting a job...but since one came from out of the blue, I am happy to take the offer! I feel very prepared and ready.
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
P.s. Wes and I'll be in Chicago for the marathon in October...just a note :)
That's awesome!!! So glad to hear that you're going to be able to teach! I love how God just shows off sometimes. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe miss you guys. Wes, I filled out a reference for your church. I told them that you hang kids upside down by their toes and tickle them mercilessly. Just kidding, it should be in the bag!
