C eh N eh D eh

Blog posts back-to-back-to-back. 3 days in a row. We're like professional bloggers now.

Leslie and I went to Vancouver today, just to have a look around, eh.

International tourist-
Notice the dog walker in these pictures-
Leslie saw him and had to take his picture. Then we ran into him again. Another picture-
We didn't see much evidence that the olympics would be held there in just 76 days. We did see the olympic rings on a barge and were suddenly inspired to attempt to qualify for our favorite event: urban hurdles.

The Spider

A fine day, when Mrs. Peter was teaching us a new game on the carpet, a spider ran through our circle. Boys jumped up. Just then the spider got killed. Mrs. Peter kept teaching the student that were sitting down. I felt sorry for the spider.
Mrs. Peter wasn't happy that the students jumped up and screamed. I was still sitting down. After the spider got killed we went to our desks.
I was thinking who has killed the spider, it could be many student who wanted to kill the spider.
I think that many students in our room is thinking about the dead spider.
From that day, when Mrs. Peter was teaching a new game, no spider ran through our class.
I hope Mrs. Peter will be proud of me.

-Written by a second grade boy :)

FYI - this was a HUGE spider

Computer tip - don't pay for antivirus software

Hi friends/family. I have a quick computer tip for everyone - don't pay for antivirus software. I use Microsoft's free AV software, but there are others that are free and good. I just like Microsoft's because it doesn't slow down your computer and integrates into Windows Update to stay up to date. By the way, you should make sure Windows Update is setup to automatically update your computer so that your system stays patched up and protected.

If you want more of an explanation, there is a pretty good article about this on lifehacker. They also list some other tips on keeping your computer protected, so it's worth a glance.

Oh yea, the post with pictures from our house showed me using a Mac. I've decided to switch to macs because they are perfect and never have bugs. Just kidding. The real reason we have a mac is because Leslie's school gave her one to use and so I was using it when she took the picture.

This concludes the most boring, word-filled post ever made on our blog. Hope someone finds it useful :) Good night!
