It's mid-winter break! I have a week off to enjoy and get life things done that the busyness of school doesn't allow :)

-call friends and family (that'd be you)
-find a kitten to take home :)
-paint (I started many walls months ago and stopped without finishing)
-study for a Spanish exam (test date in 2 weeks)
-explore
-take pictures! (still waiting for that eagle)
-catalog my photos
-try to find the joys that I used to have in running...where have they gone?
-buy a mower
-mow the lawn (knee high by Presidents day!)

Spring- in February!

Today has been the MOST beautiful day! It's Saturday, so Wes and I have been able to enjoy it outside!

I spent the morning on a walk with Kirsten. We stopped at Starbucks and sipped coffee/tea on their patio. Then when I got home again, Wes and I walked along his normal morning route to the bus and I snapped a few photos to share with you all!

When we got home, we decided to make quesadillas and eat on our patio. Outside is 71 and sunny! While we ate, Spunk was on the prowl for flies and we even saw a hummingbird singing in our tree! I've seen eagles fly overhead before, so I was ready to capture a picture to share with you...but they must be sleeping today.
